At The Gates lança “To Drink from the Night Itself” no Setembro Negro Fest

O At The Gates acaba de lançar “To Drink from the Night Itself”, e os brasileiros poderão conferir um dos shows da turnê desse novo trabalho, que acontecerá na volta do festival Setembro Negro, em sua 12ª edição (que acontecerá nos dias 29 e 30/09), e contará também com as bandas Aeternus, Coven, Enthroned, Morbid Saint, Purgatory, Razor, Vulcano, Schirenc Plays Pungent Stench, Taake, Wolfbrigade, Amen Corner, Decomposed God, Human Atrocity, Infested Blood e Manger Cadavre.

O At The Gates foi formado em 1990, em Gottenburg, na Suécia e surgiu com a mistura de Death Metal e elementos de Heavy tradicional.

“To Drink from the Night Itself” é o sexto álbum da carreira do At The Gates, que durante um bom tempo, dividia 3 dos seus integrantes com o The Haunted.

Os discos "The Red in the Sky Is Ours" (92), "With Fear I Kiss the Burning Darkness" (93), "Terminal Spirit Disease" (94) e "Slaughter of the Soul" (95), são considerados clássicos do que ficou conhecido como "Gothenburg death metal sound", estilo do qual são pioneiros.

A formação do At The Gates é; Tomas "Tompa" Lindberg (vocais), Martin Larsson (guitarra), Jonas Stålhammar (guitarra), Jonas Björler (baixo) e Adrian Erlandsson (bateria).
