Após o falecimento do vocalista Dirk Schröder em 2025, a cena do speed metal mundial se viu diante de uma perda irreparável. Ícone do gênero e voz inconfundível da banda alemã Iron Angel, Schröder deixou um legado marcante que influenciou gerações. Para preservar essa trajetória e manter viva a essência do grupo, surge agora o Iron Angel Legacy, uma nova formação oficialmente criada com o propósito de dar continuidade ao trabalho que o vocalista ajudou a construir.
O projeto nasce com a missão de respeitar a identidade clássica da banda — marcada por riffs velozes, intensidade crua e a estética agressiva do speed metal alemão dos anos 80 — ao mesmo tempo em que aponta para um futuro possível após a perda de seu frontman histórico. Composta por membros remanescentes, a “Legacy” busca equilibrar reverência e renovação: manter vivas as canções que moldaram a banda e, ao mesmo tempo, desenvolver novos materiais que honrem o peso de seu passado.

It was a sad time to get informed that my friend Dirk Schröder passed away 😢
He gave me the chance to be IRON ANGEL together with him.
From this moment on, it became a very important part of my life to play all over the world and to meet my brothers and sisters of Heavy Metal!
Dirk was not only a singer. He was the voice, the spirit, the fire of IRON ANGEL.
He stood on stage like a warrior and gave everything he had to the fans.
Every scream, every word, every show — pure devotion! ⚡️🔥
Brazil was always something special for us.
You welcomed us like family, with open arms and hearts full of metal.
The energy, the passion, the love you gave — unforgettable!
Dirk felt that. We all did. And we will never forget it. 🇧🇷🤘
Today, we continue the legacy with respect and honor.
